His sire, Snowmass Royal Knight, is the spitting image of his sire, Snowmass Royal Bronze, only he is a True Black! Royal Knight was one of the highly select black alpacas in the Snowmass Elite Black breeding program. He has proven to be extremely valuable in infusing fineness into breeding programs.

His grandsire, Snowmass Matrix, is truly one in a million! He is the finest fleeced, highest curvature son of Snowmass Quechua standing in the world. This amazing stud won Reserve Herdsire of the Year for both Light and Dark in 2008 with only 11 entries! In 2009 he won the Dark Herdsire of the Year and Light Reserve Herdsire. And in 2010 he repeated as Dark Reserve Herdsire of the Year.

Her great grandsire, Incan Magic, is the premier Grey Herdsire of the North American. With the fiber density and ultra fine fleece he inherited from his dam, 4Peruvian Amanda (who in 2006, at the age of 15, had an AFD <17!), Magic has traits that are often sorely missing in this color category.
